BRIAN PATRICK LIM
Brian Patrick Lim is a Manila-based director and cinematographer known for his diverse work in films, commercials, and other media. His notable short horror film MARIAN has been recognized in both local and international film festivals, winning Best Horror Film at the Asian on Film Festival and the Vancouver Horror Show. This film was also acquired by Blumhouse’s CryptTV and Gun Powder & Sky’s Alter Channel.
In his role as a cinematographer and co-producer, Brian contributed to the success of NENE, which received several awards and nominations, including Best Cinematography at the ReelWorld Film Festival. His first feature film, CHASING FIRE, was awarded Best Screenplay at The Barcelona International Film Festival.
Branching out into other roles, Brian worked as a costume designer for the series NIGHT OWL HIGH, which was featured on Air Canada's onboard entertainment, and as a production designer for the short film CROSSROADS. CROSSROADS was showcased at the Cannes Film Market and acquired by Vidsee.
His commercial portfolio includes collaborations with well-known brands such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Lady’s Choice, KFC, PLDT, Unilab, Merck Pharmaceuticals, L’Oreal Paris, Skechers, and Complex Lifestyle Store.
Brian is currently in the early stages of pre-production for his second feature film, FOOL FOR YOU. This film centers on an aspiring songwriter who falls for a charming narcissist, exploring themes of love and self-discovery.
