About

Brian Patrick Lim is a Manila-based director and cinematographer recognized for his diverse body of work across films, commercials, and visual design. His short horror film MARIAN screened at both local and international festivals, earning Best Horror Film at the Asian on Film Festival and the Vancouver Horror Show, and was later acquired by Blumhouse’s CryptTV and Gunpowder & Sky’s Alter channel.

As a cinematographer and co-producer, Brian contributed to NENE, which earned multiple accolades including Best Cinematography at the ReelWorld Film Festival. His debut feature, Chasing Fire, marked his entry into feature filmmaking and became an important early milestone in his career.

Beyond directing and cinematography, Brian serves as Managing Director and Creative Lead of Coro Hotel, where he has guided the brand’s evolution through interiors, cultural programming, and design-driven guest experiences that blend hospitality with storytelling. Earlier in his career, he also explored costume and production design on projects such as Immortals and Crossroads (the latter showcased at the Cannes Film Market and acquired by Vidsee). He designed costumes for the series Night Owl High, which was featured on Air Canada’s inflight entertainment.

In the commercial space, Brian has collaborated with leading global brands including Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Lady’s Choice, KFC, PLDT, Unilab, Merck Pharmaceuticals, L’Oréal Paris, Skechers, and Complex Lifestyle Store.
